NAPSW is a group of social workers who help individuals, families, and communities respond to psychosocial issues that emerge during the period from pre-pregnancy through an infant’s first year of life.
Vision
Every baby, every family ... supported with competent and compassionate care.
Mission
To promote and support excellence in perinatal social work in order to maximize healthy outcomes for babies and their families.
Purpose
NAPSW is a community of perinatal social workers sharing a knowledge base and striving for excellence in practice for the benefit of families around the time of birth.
Conference
NAPSW presents a clinical conference every year; one of the largest gatherings of Perinatal Social Workers from across the United States and Canada. NAPSW supports the unique experience of perinatal social workers and facilitates connections among this outstanding group of professionals. We hope you will join us to learn many aspects of perinatal care from social work experts as well as other professionals. It is an excellent opportunity to meet perinatal colleagues, make valuable contacts, and earn CEUs. NAPSW rotates the conference location to provide everyone a chance to attend.
